A newly built spec house in the Holmby Hills neighborhood has sold for $100 million — tying the recent deal for the Playboy Mansion as the most expensive residential sale ever in Los Angeles County.
Listed in April for $150 million, the more than two-acre estate was built on the grounds of Barbra Streisand’s former “Mon Rêve” estate. Developer Gala Asher purchased the property as a vacant lot two years ago for $13.25 million, records show.
