According to Apartmentlist.com, rents have been flat the past month however have increased by 3.1% year over year compared to 2.9% for California and 2.0% across the nation.
Currently, median rents in Los Angeles are at $1,350 for a 1-bedroom apartment and $1,740 for a 2-bedroom.
The highest average rent in Southern California is in Irvine at $2,680 per month while Los Angeles’ is the lowest at $1,740, for major metro areas surveyed.
